It’s November 4th, 2014 at the Las Vegas Convention Center and this date starts the beginning of the 2014 SEMA trade show. The SEMA show stands for Specialty Equipment Market Association, which is the premier trade event for automotive specialty products and pickup truck accessories. The SEMA show is a four daylong event that provides all attendees with product demonstrations, exciting events, seminars, and various networking opportunities. The SEMA show is a trade-only type of event that is not open to the general public. What you see at the SEMA show ranges from monstrous trucks, sleek exotic cars, classic hot rods, motorcycles, new inventions and products just getting to the market.

SEMA 2014 marks the second year that Shark Kage has attended this massive event. Last year we débuted the Shark Kage in the new products area and received an award for best new product 2013 runner up exterior accessory. This year we came back to show off not only our improved Shark Kage Sport model but our new model called the Moto ramp. We are reaching out not only to the off-road and motorcycle markets, but we wanted to show that the Shark Kage is one of the most versatile pickup truck accessories on the market. We have seen an enormous amount of interest from all types of attendees at the show, ranging from lots of national buyers all the way to international distribution.

The Shark Kage is not only one of safest loading ramps on the market, but it is so versatile that anyone could use one for virtually anything. At the show we had buyers that were very interested in using the Shark Kage for various occupations such as construction workers, landscapers, movers, forestry and even maintenance work. That is why the Shark Kage was named SEMA’s 2013 best of product runner up in pickup truck accessories. Overall, the SEMA show was a great opportunity to showcase the new and improved models from last year and to increase brand recognition within the always growing automotive industry.
